Richard Reid presented the practice’s final design report on its
alternative development plan for Three Kings to Puketapapa Local Board on
6 June. The report contains detailed descriptions and illustrations of the
RRA design, a comparative housing analysis of the RRA and Fletcher Plans,
and three dimensional representations of different contour options for filling
the quarry.
In a media release one week later, members of Puketapapa Local Board expressed their strong support for the design. They stated “On every count, Mr Reid’s alternative plan is superior to the Fletcher Residential Plan.”
