Richard Reid & Associates's alternative proposal for the Basin Reserve Roundabout in Wellington gained national coverage in today's Sunday Star-Times. Business journalist Rod Oram reviewed the decision by the Board of Inquiry to decline NZTA's application for a flyover. Oram identified our at-grade enhancement of the roundabout (BRREO) as the best alternative.
Oram's article comes one year after he recommended Wellington City Council properly analyse our concept plan. With the board finding merit in our development of this plan, Oram once again appeals for the city to recognise the value of our work. The wealth of wisdom and knowledge captured by the board's report and the alternative proposal offer abundant opportunities.
